The teaching approach is based on a combination of active and vocational methods that place the student at the heart of their learning. Project-based learning plays a central role: case studies, teamwork and community projects enable students to apply theoretical concepts to real-life situations, whilst developing collaborative skills and analytical thinking.

This dynamic is reinforced by the co-construction of knowledge, particularly through flipped classrooms, which encourage active engagement with the content, greater participation in class and increased intellectual autonomy.

The programme also incorporates blended learning, combining the benefits of face-to-face and digital learning. The use of digital tools, collaborative platforms and video resources diversifies learning methods and provides flexibility tailored to students’ current needs.

Finally, professional immersion is a key pillar. Work placements, work-study schemes, company assignments and involvement in community life enable students to apply their learning to real-world situations, understand organisational dynamics and develop the skills required in the professional world.

Together, these elements form a coherent, stimulating and career-focused educational framework, designed to effectively prepare future managers for contemporary challenges.

Throughout the academic programme, students are assessed in a variety of ways:

Assessment methods are tailored to the level of study: at undergraduate level, examinations (multiple-choice questions, knowledge tests, practical exercises) are primarily designed to assess the acquisition of knowledge. At higher levels, students are assessed mainly through case studies, practical scenarios and project presentations.

Each placement involves the writing of a report designed to ensure that skills have been acquired.

More generally, we use the following six levels of cognitive skills to assess our students:

Understanding: quizzes, matching exercises, etc.

Recognising / Knowing: quizzes, matching exercises, etc.

Applying: (practical exercises, simulations, etc.)

Analysing: (problem-solving, case studies, etc.)

Evaluating: (case studies, critiques, etc.)

Creating: (projects, etc.)

Lecturers award bonus marks for active participation in class or online when students contribute to a discussion forum.
 

The validation of prior learning may be carried out in full or by skill block. It is based on the documentation provided by the learner. All the skills within each skill block must be addressed in the VAE portfolio in order for that block to be validated. There is no time limit on partial validation.

Bridges and equivalences

There are no bridges or equivalences: enrolment in the programme requires completion of all modules. If a block is not validated after a resit session, the student must repeat the year and does not retain the benefit of any blocks that may have been validated.
