The graduation ceremony is one of the highlights of life at the EDC. It brings together graduates, their families, teachers, the academic staff and graduates to celebrate together the culmination of a demanding journey. Filled with emotion, gratitude and a sense of community, this ceremony is also an opportunity to make new connections, share experiences and join a network that will support graduates as they take their first steps into their professional lives.

Speaking with conviction

Through the course ‘Managerial Public Speaking and Advocacy’, some students develop a skill that is essential to their future careers: the art of persuasion.

The public speaking competition offers them the opportunity to put the techniques they have learnt into practice by speaking in front of an audience and a panel of judges. Structuring an argument, defending one’s ideas with confidence, managing stress and pitching a project are all skills that will make a difference in their professional careers, whatever role they go on to play.
