STRATEGY AND MANAGEMENT DEPARTEMENT
EDC Paris Business School staff are organised into 5 departments; they conduct teaching and research activities, encourage synergies between the two and develop partnerships with companies.
The departments thus ensure that research work and companies’ concrete problems feed into course content, both in full-time and continuing education. They are also responsible for developing innovative teaching methods in their field of expertise.
→ Finance, management & decision support
The Finance Department aims to produce and disseminate high-quality research in the key fields of finance, accountancy and economics as well as in operational performance (supply chain, information systems). The department’s research thus covers a wide range of themes: market and company finance, econometrics, performance measurement, green supply chain, etc.
→ Entrepreneurship and Digital Transformation
This department’s staff have the very strong, guiding conviction that no-one is born an entrepreneur but becomes one. Digital transformation and platform business models are intrinsically linked to Entrepreneurship 3.0 and have impacts on different aspects of company’s value chains.
In order to meet the challenges of society, marketing, sales and distribution are having to re-invent themselves. With this in mind, the marketing department develops research and teaching that deals with brands, consumer behaviour and modes of consumption as well as the different methods of relations / communication between organisations and their clients.

This department brings together staff responsible for language teaching and intercultural management as well as those who support students with their personal development and their ability to improve their brand capital and employability.
→ Strategy and Management
In our approach, the conception and implementation of company strategies, the management of change, the management of human resources and CSR are intrinsically linked and can be neither designed nor developed without support from a strong management team, capable of taking into account companies’ human issues and societal dynamics.
