Does the programme include an incubator or support for starting a business?

The MSc in Entrepreneurship & Innovation at EDC Paris Business School goes beyond theoretical teaching on starting a business. It incorporates practical business creation support and provides access to an active entrepreneurial ecosystem, designed to help students turn their ideas into reality while they are still studying.

A dedicated incubator for entrepreneurial projects

EDCUBE is the in-house incubator at EDC Paris Business School. It supports students with business creation or innovation projects at every stage of their journey: validating their idea, structuring their business model, securing funding and preparing for launch. The incubator services include personalised support from experienced mentors, practical workshops covering key business creation challenges, and networking opportunities with key players in the startup ecosystem.

Access to EDCUBE is a significant advantage for MSc students: benefiting from professional support while pursuing their studies significantly reduces the risks associated with the early stages of an entrepreneurial project and accelerates the development of practical skills in real-world business challenges.

Personalised support for every entrepreneurial project

Beyond the incubator, the programme provides personalised support throughout the course. Students benefit from startup coaching sessions with advisors specialising in entrepreneurship, who help them structure their thinking, test their assumptions and refine their value proposition. This regular support helps identify potential weaknesses in a project before they become obstacles to its launch.

The *"I am an Entrepreneur"* ongoing project, integrated into the programme, supports students as they develop their project throughout the course. This educational approach connects academic learning with each student's own entrepreneurial project, ensuring consistency between the knowledge acquired during the programme and the project's practical needs.

Access to a network of entrepreneurs and financial partners

EDC Paris Business School draws on an entrepreneurial network of more than 18,500 alumni, including 5,000 business owners across 71 countries. This network is a valuable resource for students in the process of launching a business: identifying mentors, finding their first customers, gaining access to financial partners or joining partner organisations to test a concept.

Regular networking events — including conferences, meetings with investors and entrepreneurial forums — enable MSc students to build relationships with key players in the startup ecosystem and accelerate the development of their startup partnerships. Companies such as Doctolib, Orange, Thales and Sage are among the partners in the EDC Paris network, providing opportunities for concrete collaboration.

Practical training in business management and innovation

The programme covers the essential operational skills required to run a business. Modules include startup finance (preparing financial forecasts, cash flow management and fundraising), marketing strategy and business development, HR strategy for entrepreneurs and managers, as well as innovation management and artificial intelligence applied to entrepreneurship.

This teaching is based on practical, real-world situations, including case studies, business games, team projects and company assignments. The teaching approach prioritises action learning, enabling students to apply business management tools directly to their own projects or to real-life cases provided by partner organisations.

Continued support after graduation to help projects succeed

EDC Paris Business School's commitment does not end upon graduation. MSc alumni retain access to the school's alumni network and can continue to benefit from mentoring by experienced professionals through alumni associations. Regular alumni events help maintain connections between different cohorts and create opportunities for collaboration between project founders and established entrepreneurs.

For projects requiring funding after graduation, the EDC Paris network facilitates introductions to investors and organisations providing growth support. This post-programme support reflects a long-term approach to entrepreneurial development, extending well beyond the two years of study.
