Biography:
Max Berre is a US-born financial economist, of US-Belgian dual-nationality, whose research focuses on SMEs, entrepreneurial finance, as well as their relations with macroeconomics and with regulation and economic policy. He has a PhD in entrepreneurial finance from the University of Lyon, an MSc. in Economics from Maastricht University, as well as in Banking & Finance from Ghent University, an LL.M. in European Competition Law & Economics from the University of Liege, and a bachelor's from American University in Washington DC.
