Ambitions + Competition
Dedicated to students who wish to join a major management school, the Ambitions + Competition is aimed at candidates with a Bac+2 or Bac+3. Created in 2014, the Ambitions + Competition has the specificity of offering staggered sessions, which is why it is particularly important to know the dates of the written and oral tests.
The Ambitions + Competition provides access to 30 programs spread over 4 business schools. In 2020, more than a thousand candidates tried their luck for nearly 400 alternating positions. The winners will be able to go Grande Ecole Program of the EDC Paris Business School.
The dates of the Ambitions + Competition are multiple, since 7 sessions in total will take place between February and September 2021:
- 2, 3 and 4 February 2021: first session
- 9, 10 and 11 March 2021: second session
- 12, 13 and 1 April 2021: third session
- 26, 27 and 28 May 2021: fourth session
- 17, 18 and 19 June 2021: fifth session
- 7, 8 and 9 July 2021: sixth session
- 1, 2 and 3 September 2021: seventh and final session
WRITTEN AND ORAL TESTS
For each session, the written tests take place on the first day and the oral tests on the next two days, with the results occurring at 15:00 two weeks later.
THE TEST OF CREATIVITY
It consists of the writing of 3 short essays on 3 given themes. The candidate will be assessed on his/her ability to propose, believe, adapt, listen and be responsive, knowing that there is no “right answer” expected. It is the argument that will give your work its full value.
THE ENGLISH TEST
Your preparation for the Ambitions + Competition should not miss out on English, which will last an hour. It includes a MCQ of 30 questions for Bac+2 or 40 questions for Bac+3 as well as an essay of 250 words to write. Grammar, Writing and Vocabulary will be tested.
THE ORAL TEST
This test varies depending on the school. Expect an interview in French or even in English. You will need to explain your motivations while being eloquent.
