Dedicated to students who wish to join a major management school, the Ambitions + Competition is aimed at candidates with a Bac+2 or Bac+3. Created in 2014, the Ambitions + Competition has the specificity of offering staggered sessions, which is why it is particularly important to know the dates of the written and oral tests.

The Key Steps

The Ambitions + Competition provides access to 30 programs spread over 4 business schools. In 2020, more than a thousand candidates tried their luck for nearly 400 alternating positions. The winners will be able to go Grande Ecole Program of the EDC Paris Business School.

Dates of the Ambitions + competition shave multiple sessions, as a total of 7 sessions will take place between February and August 2023 :

February 8, 9 and 10, 2023: first session (application deadline February 5, 2023)
March 7,8 and 9, 2023: second session (application deadline March 2, 2023)
April 4,5 and 6, 2023: third session (application deadline March 30, 2023)
May 23, 24 and 25, 2023: fourth session (application deadline May 18, 2023)
June 14, 15 and 16, 2023: fifth session (application deadline June 11, 2023)
July 4,5 and 6, 2023: sixth session (application deadline June 29, 2023)
August 28, 29 and 30, 2023: seventh and final session (application deadline August 23, 2023)

WRITTEN AND ORAL TESTS

For each session, the written tests take place on the first day and the oral tests on the next two days, with the results occurring at 15:00 two weeks later.

TEST D’APTITUDES

The test consists of 4 themes: calculation ability, reasoning ability, expression ability and logic ability.

THE ENGLISH TEST

Your preparation for the Ambitions + Competiton should not overlook English, which will last one hour. It includes a 10-question document analysis quiz, a 10-question audio analysis and a grammar, written expression and vocabulary test (20 questions for admission in 3rd year / 30 questions for admission in 4th year)

THE ORAL TEST

Following the written tests common to all schools, you will be invited to oral tests in schools of your choice.

These tests are specific to each school and their main purpose is to better understand your profile, your motivations and expectations, but also the adequacy of your project with the school’s values.

These orals will be an opportunity for you to reveal your personality, motivation and potential.
