EDC Group to implement 100% distance learning starting on Monday 23 March
2,400 students and 102 teaching staff in virtual classrooms from Monday 23 March
EDC Paris Business School, Sup de Luxe and Sports Management School are switching over 100% of their courses to distance-learning format on 23 March 2020 using the latest, specially adapted teaching tools made available to students and professors, until the end of the confinement period.
“We are currently putting in place user guides for both teaching staff and students. We all want to provide support in this virtual classroom to ensure that each person’s experience contributes to everyone’s well-being, which explains the preparation time required for a smooth launch on Monday 23 March. The development of blended learning provision via the Blackboard platform for students on the Grande Ecole Programme over the past 18 months has given us solid foundations on which to extend this approach to all of the Group’s courses.” Murielle Mbangue, Digital Training Project Coordinator
All examinations will also be maintained, and the arrangements will be specified in the coming days.
“We would like to thank all our teams for their commitment and all our students for their understanding in these unexpected circumstances. Together, we will weather this storm. Our innovation culture, resourcefulness and winning spirit will see us through this crisis, which will ultimately make us stronger”, William Hurst, Director General of the EDC Group
