International internship
Throughout the academic program, students are assessed in a variety of ways:
Examination methods are adapted to the level of study: during the first cycle, exams (multiple-choice questions, knowledge tests, application exercises) are mainly designed to assess knowledge acquisition. Subsequently, students are assessed mainly through case studies, role-playing exercises, and project presentations. Each internship gives rise to the writing of a report intended to ensure the acquisition of skills.
More generally, we rely on the following six levels of cognitive skills to assess our students:
Understanding: quizzes, matching exercises, etc. Recognizing/Knowing: quizzes, matching exercises, etc. Applying: (practical exercises, simulations, etc.) Analyzing: (problem solving, case studies, etc.) Evaluating: (case studies, critiques, etc.) Creating: (projects, etc.)
Teachers award bonus points for active participation in class or remotely when students contribute to a discussion forum.
EDC Paris Business School allows students to complete their studies through work-study programs.
Two types of contracts are available for work-study programs: the apprenticeship contract for Bachelor's degrees and the professional training contract for MSc In. Both allow students to combine practical training in a company with theoretical training in an educational institution.
Popular with students and companies alike, this program allows students to gain unique, long-term experience as a real company employee (1 week at school – 3 weeks in a company). This professional experience provides students with valuable know-how and interpersonal skills that are highly valued in the workplace.
The work-study contract allows students to be exempt from tuition fees and receive remuneration.
Working professionals can apply to have their professional skills recognized through a VAE process, provided that they submit their application more than nine months before the graduation committee meets.
