Objectif
Pourquoi faire une VAE ?
La VAE permet de sécuriser les parcours et de faciliter l'évolution professionnelle. Elle offre la possibilité de renforcer son employabilité, de s'engager dans une reconversion, de passer un concours ou encore d'obtenir une évolution de poste par l'obtention d'un diplôme validant les compétences acquises tout au long de son parcours.
Toute personne, quels que soient son âge, sa nationalité, son niveau de formation et son statut, est éligible au dispositif VAE
NB: Lorsqu'un candidat à une VAE est salarié, il peut bénéficier d'un congé de 48 heures afin de se préparer aux épreuves de validation. Cette durée peut être allongée par convention ou accord collectif. Durant son congé, le candidat à la VAE bénéficie du maintien de sa rémunération et de la protection sociale du salarié.
Prérequis
Quels sont les conditions d'accès à une VAE ?
La loi reconnait un droit universel à la VAE, sans durée minimum d'expérience. Toutes les expériences sont prises en compte dans le cadre d'une démarche de validation des acquis de l'expérience (Article L6412-1-1 du Code du Travail) :
- Les expériences professionnelles, salariées, non-salariées, bénévoles et de volontariat
- Les périodes de stage
- Les périodes de formation initiale
- Les périodes de formation continue
- Les périodes en situation professionnelles (dans le cadre d'un enseignement conduisant à un diplôme technologique ou professionnel)
- Les périodes de mise en situation professionnelle (dans le cadre d'une reconversion ou d'une prise de poste)
Process
Comment se déroule une VAE ?
La Validation des Acquis de l'Expérience consiste à faire valider ses compétences par le certificateur titulaire de la certification professionnelle visée, par le biais d'un dossier écrit et d'une présentation orale devant un Jury. Le parcours de VAE comprend un accompagnement à la valorisation des compétences et, le cas échéant, des périodes de formation ou de mises en situation en milieu professionnel.

Financement
Comment financer une VAE ?
- CPF : la VAE peut être prise en charge par votre compte CPF, toutes les demandes de financement sont à effectuer sur www.moncompteactivite.gouv.fr
- Employeur : votre employeur peut également contribuer pour tout ou partie au financement de votre projet, via le plan de développement des compétences de l'entreprise.
- Association Transition Pro : dans le cadre d'une reconversion professionnelle, prise en charge possible prise sur la base d'un montant forfaitaire dans la limite de 3 000 euros des frais de positionnement, d'accompagnement à la constitution des dossiers de recevabilité et de préparation au jury de validation des acquis de l'expérience, ainsi que les frais afférents à ces jurys.
- Pôle emploi, OPCO et FAF : en onction de votre statut, en recherche d'emploi, salarié ou indépendant, vous pouvez bénéficier des fonds publics et mutualisés de la formation professionnelle pour financer votre VAE.
- Agefiph et Cap emploi : des dispositifs de financement sont également accessibles aux personnes en situation de handicap, active ou en recherche d'emploi.
