Outbound Mobility

EDC Paris Business School has set up a network of partnerships with recognised higher education establishments throughout the world.

They have been selected for their high-level programs, which enable students to benefit from a well-founded, coherent international experience, perfectly integrated with their academic courses at EDC Paris Business School.

From the second semester of the second year, they can undertake one or more exchanges (between 6 and 24 months) and apply for a double degree (Bachelor in Business Administration or Master) in the 4th and 5th years.

The international dimension underpins EDC Paris Business School’s educational approach.

In this respect, overseas exposure, be it in the form of an academic exchange in a partner university and/or an overseas placement, is obligatory in order to get a degree.

The principles of academic exchanges

3rd year students and those in their main specialist subject (4th and 5th years), candidates for a straightforward academic exchange are selected on the basis of their results at EDC Paris Business School, their linguistic ability and their general behaviour.

Students who are candidates for a double degree are selected on the basis of an application form (same criteria as above) and an interveiw with an academic representative of both establishments.

The number of students sent to each destination is deliberately very limited in order to enable them to better integrate into the partner establishment.

Students pay tuition fees to EDC Paris Business School even while they are on exchanges and have nothing to pay to the host institution except in the case of a bilateral payment agreement.

Doubles degrees

In the case of an exchange, or study trip in the case of a Master, students can apply for one of the 10 double degrees (Master’s degrees or graduate diplomas), real differentiation factors with high added value in the job market, offered by prestigious partners of EDC Paris Business School.

This grant is awarded to all students on exchanges lasting between 3 and 12 months in a European university with which EDC Paris Business School has an Erasmus+ agreement. Students receive the grant at the start of their acdemic exchange. They must sign a mobility contract beforehand and carry out the OLS (Online Linguistic System) test at the beginning and end of their exchange.

IDF (Ile de France) grant

Available in addition to other institutional aid, the IDF grant is awarded by the Ile de France Regional Council and is aimed at students who go away for between 3 and 10 months. It is awarded to students who have already completed two years of higher education before going abroad and whose academic and behavioural record is irreproachable. It is calculated with respect to the tax-free family allowance. Students can also apply to communes and departmental councils which, in certain cases, give assistance to those going abroad.

EDC Class of 2015

In my third year, I had the opportunity to carry out my university exchange at the University of Westminster, in London. In addition to my experience as a student and personally, this exchange helped me greatly when I was looking for an internship: speaking a foreign language has become essential, regardless of the choice of profession. During my studies at EDC Paris Business School, I took every opportunity to do exchanges. After my university exchange experience, I spent another 6 months in the Treasury Department of Eiffage Construction. Through this internship I discovered company finance and decided to join the Master’s programme in “Finance, Control, Audit” the following year. In my 5th year, I did my final internship at EY – Middle East, in the Audit Department, which then enabled me to go to the United Arab Emirates to work in transaction services.
