Student receive the allowance at the beginning of their academic exchange. This scholarship can be combined with other institutional aids. The AMIE scholarship is granted by the Conseil Regional d’Ile de France and is available to students studying 3-10 months in a foreign country. It is designed for students who have already completed two years of higher education before going abroad and whose application is beyond reproach, both in terms of academic achievements and behaviour. It is allocated according to the household’s family income.
Town halls and Local Councils sometimes also offer assistance to students wanting to go abroad.
EDC Paris Business School has initiated a merit scholarship for 4th-year students who wish to undertake a short study programme or a study trip abroad. It is awarded to the most deserving students.
