INTERNSHIPS
Throughout the five years of the degree course, internships allow students to discover how companies work and what challenges they face. Over the course of five years, each student will do at least 18 months of internships in France or abroad.
Each internship has a precise objective:
First Year
Business Discovery
Internship Discovering companies and the world of business.
Third Year
Management Internship
Managing and taking complete long-term control of projects in order to develop analytical and synthesising skills.
Fifth Year
Specialisation Internship In order to be immediately operational upon graduating, and if possible finishing with a permanent contract.
BUSINESS ASSIGNMENTS
Business assignments are real and concrete projects assigned to students by individuals and businesses wishing to create, take over or develop a structure. They are a great way for students to apply their theoretical courses to practical situations. Working in teams of five, they are supervised by their academic advisor and teachers. At the end of their assignment they will present their conclusions and recommendations to a jury of professionals.
First Year
1. Communication : its purpose is to teach students about communication techniques, project management and teamwork.
2. In-the-field Sales : this assignment allows the practice of negotiating techniques.
3. Market Research: with the goal of deciding whether or not to validate the launch of the product, concept or service from a marketing point of view.
Second Year
1. Oral Business Exam : the student must demonstrate to the jury his mastery of selling techniques.
2. Business Creation : this assignment allows the student to carry out the complete market research for a project at the request of a professional.
Third Year
1. Oral Business Exam in English: its purpose is to demonstrate to the jury the student’s ability to carry out business negotiations in English.
Fourth Year
1. Business Acquisition & Transfer: the aim is to identify suitable businesses for a corporate buyer and to analyse them.
2. Specialisation : the assignment will depend on what specialisation the student has chosen. For example, this may involve calculating cash flow in Finance, developing a complete analysis for Entrepreneurial Management, elaborating a marketing strategy in Marketing Management, or analysing international development projects in International Management.
