Founded in 1950, EDC is the oldest private business school in France.
Since 1995, it has belonged to 250 business leaders who are all former students. The FORCE EDC Association brings together 13 000 school graduates, and represents an international network in 74 countries.
1950 – Foundation of EDC
1952 – First graduate class
1967 – State recognition for the school
1986 – Diploma certified by the French Ministry of National Education, certificate of law at level II
1993 - 10 000th graduate
1995 – Buy-out of the school by 250 former students
1997 – New 4-year degree course. Educational partnership with HEC Entrepreneurs
2005 – New 5-year degree course. Diploma certified Bac + 5
2009 – The French Ministry of Education and Research has awarded the EDC diploma a "Grade de Master"(specific official French Label of Education)
2010 - EDC is a member” of the “Conférence des Grandes Ecoles”
