EDC Paris, a School of Management for entrepreneurship
Located at the heart of the "Paris-La Défense" business district, EDC - Ecole des Dirigeants & Créateurs d'entreprise – is one of the best business schools in France.
EDC provides a Master's degree designed to prepare students to take up professional responsibilities while encouraging their personal development. A major part of the study programme is devoted to in-the-field training and intensive practice of foreign languages.
EDC graduates share a sense of ethical values and entrepreneurship throughout their business activities such as company creation and take-over, product launches and communication.
Created in 1950 and chaired by Alain Dominique Perrin (Chairman of the Financial Richemont Company), EDC has stood out since 1995 as a specific and original organisation. The 240 former students who jointly own the school have used their professional experience and know-how to contribute to the academic and professional achievement of its students. Today, it boasts 13 000 graduates in 74 countries who constitute a strong and powerful business network.
2 INTERNATIONAL DEPARTMENT
The purpose of the International Relations Department is to establish a network of partnerships with international universities. The department selects candidates from all over the world and organizes their stay during their studies in France. It is also responsible for the enrolment, welcoming, welfare and integration of foreign students.

3 HELP ME CHOOSE A COURSE - STUDENT GUIDE
Students who have successfully followed a 3-year management course at university level and who wish to develop a better understanding of the organization and functioning of the business environment in France and of French entrepreneurship, can follow the 2nd and 3rd year programs.
Students who have successfully completed a 3-year university course in Management in a foreign university partner of EDC and who hold a Bachelor's degree, may either :
- enrol in a specialization course in the 4th year only (in which case they are not awarded the EDC degree certificate) ;
- or follow a 2-year specialization course with a study program covering three semesters and a six-month specialization training course. In this case and provided they fulfil the academic requirements of EDC, they will obtain the EDC degree certificate (equivalent to a 5-year degree course).

6 APPLYING - HOW TO APPLY
1. APPLYING EXCHANGE STUDENT
Students from partner universities of EDC are considered as candidates on an exchange program and are exempted from university fees.

2. APPLYING NON EXCHANGE STUDENT
Students from universities not affiliated with EDC who wish to obtain an EDC degree must take part in a competitive examination to qualify for entry at the beginning of the 7th semester (1st year of specialization). They must sit for either the GMAT examination or the TAGE MAGE in their country of origin. They must also show that they are able to follow courses in French.
They must fill out the application form corresponding to their level of study (click on the button "ENTRANCE EXAM REGISTRATION-ADMISSION" on the top menu) and send it to Isabelle Fontanella :
